Creative Music Making Lessons, 1-1

Little Opera comes to you!

Throw out the theory books and make way for creative music making. 1-1 lessons that support your child’s innate creativity!

What are Little Opera’s Creative Music Making Lessons?

Music sessions delivered to you in your home that encourage children to:

  • Imagine: Let their imaginations run wild and create through an improvisational workshopping process

  • Collaborate: Express their own ideas, while also accepting the ideas of another through our unique co-creation process

  • Develop skills: In voice, lyric writing, composition and graphic notation

These sessions offer your child an opportunity to realise their creative musical vision through our unique and accessible process of music-making

With an emphasis on fun, we'll sing, experiment with percussion instruments, explore character, create lyrics and compose our very own pieces of music.

Musicianship is introduced and explored through song, movement, and hands-on games and activities inspired by Kodály, Dalcroze and Orff teaching methods. We use colour, shape, and image to capture ideas in ways that mean something to your children.

Who are they for?

Ages 7-11. No prior musical experience necessary.

Who teaches these sessions?

Claire Shaw
