After receiving her Bachelor of Performing Arts in Music with a major in Opera Studies from Leeds College of Music and a Diploma in Concert Singing from Birkbeck University, Claire left her hometown of London in 2009 to train at the Metropolitan Opera in their innovative education department. It was in New York that she learned how to create opera with children.

When not at Little Opera Claire can be found managing the Vocal Department at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, writing children’s picture books and singing in her local choir.
